Maria Cedillo is our dear friend and teammember. She unexpectedly has gone to heaven, where she is
dancing and singing and smiling. Her beautiful soul continues to resonate in our hearts. Her light
will shine forever.
Maria was always nice, kind, and genuine. She has a spirit that glowed and her smilling face was evident of that. You could feel the happiness in her voice and the cheerfulness through her actions. You felt welcomed and accepted in her presence. She would always go out of her way to look-out for the Teammember's and Member's best interest. She touched many lives and we are fortunate for it.
We were lucky to be so close to an angel. We will miss you Maria.

The loss of Maria is a loss to the credit union. I will miss her dearly. She was always cheerful and helpful to everyone around her, not just to her Members. She called everyone sweetie. She herself was a sweetheart! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, especially her boys.

I just wanted to pass on my condolences to Maria's family and friends during this time. Life is such a precious gift from God. Each day a blessing. He gives and He takes, this is a great mystery. Yet we are all born with a purpose to love and impact the lives of those around us. I am sure this is what Maria did in everyone's lives around her at home and work. I personally didn't know her, only spoke with her once recently actually and it was pleasure. She was very kind and upbeat. My prayers and condolences go out to her husband and children as well as all those she loved and those who loved her. Our hope is that she is now at rest in heaven with the Lord. Life and death are a part of life. Yet we have hope in eternity in heaven. I encourage those who loved and knew her to come together to support & comfort one another in mourning and to share the great memories of Maria Cedillo. She will be remembered always. God bless you all! ~Kristen Robles~
Maria made some mean chilaquiles... I still remember getting a really hot bite and having my throat close up on me todo enchilado. After a couple of seconds though, I was right back finishing off the plate. Maria always found a way to be involved or useful in whatever good was going on. She was confident and friendly with everybody around her. I'm sure she's still serving, smiling, and going about doing good somewhere. I'm better for having known Maria and am grateful for her influence in my life. 'Til next time...

I will always remember Maria's sweet voice. I just keep replaying it over and over in my head. I just thought she was such an amazing person. Always happy and always there whenever you needed her. I regret not telling her how wonderful she was and how much I appreciated her. There is never a time like the present to tell someone how much you Love them! She will be missed by so many. I know she is certainly in God's home now.

To the Cedillo Family,
My condolences go out to you and your family. Maria was a wonderful person who was well liked and respected by all. It was a pleasure to work with someone who always had a glowing smile, was kind hearted to all and willing to help anyone and everyone no matter what the situation entailed. She will be greatly missed by all she touched while at the credit union.
You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Sincerely,
Daniele Almasi
~~All Is Well~~
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me and if you want to, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect,
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you,
For an interval,
Somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Maria, my beautiful friend! Words can not express how you filled my life with happiness, laughter and sunshine! You are one of a kind and always will be whether on Earth or in Heaven. I hope you know how very special you are to me and to so many people. We were very lucky to have you in our lives even though it was for a short time. Your legacy is one of kindness, positive spirits, deep faith and of course, ever-lasting rythm and dancing :) I love you, my friend, yesterday, today and forever!! Johnnie Alejo
I was so saddened when I heard about Maria's passing. I met Maria on March 26, 1988; I remember this because this was my first day at the credit union. Maria was my trainer/mentor. These were the days when tellers did their training on the front line in Santa Ana, a much larger branch than the one I was assigned to. Maria was about 7 or 8 years younger than me and she calmed my nerves with her kind and patient ways. Her sweet smile and beautiful eyes reassured me every step of the way. It was wonderful to see her get married and start a family of her own. I had the pleasure of seeing Maria at various credit union functions over the years and she always revealed her sweet smile along side her warm and caring persona. She will be greatly missed by her credit union family.
